The documents you need depend on your business type.

For all business types

• CAC certificate (Corporate Affairs Commission)
• Business address proof (utility bill or tenancy agreement dated within 3 months)
• Valid ID of director(s) (national ID, driver's licence, or international passport)
• BVN of director(s)

Sole proprietor

• All documents above
• Only one director's ID and BVN required

Limited company

• All documents above
• IDs and BVNs of all directors
• Board resolution (if more than one director)

Accepted IDs

• National ID card (NIN slip)
• International passport
• Driver's licence
• Voter's card (PVC)

Accepted address proof

• Electricity bill (IKEDC, EKEDC, etc.)
• Water bill
• Waste management bill
• Tenancy agreement (with landlord's ID)
