You can customise how and when you receive notifications.
How to enable alerts
- Open the app and go to Settings > Notifications.
- Choose your notification channels:
- Push notifications: Alerts sent to your phone
- SMS alerts: Text messages to your phone
- Email alerts: Alerts sent to your registered email
- Toggle on the transaction types you want to be notified about.
Available notification types
| Type | Description |
|------|-------------|
| Credits | When money enters your account |
| Debits | When money leaves your account |
| Transfers | When you send or receive money |
| Bill payments | When you pay a bill |
| Airtime/Data | When you buy airtime or data |
| Card transactions | When your card is used |
| Savings | When interest is credited or goal matures |
| Security | Login attempts, PIN changes, 2FA updates |
Notification channels
- Push notifications: Free, instant, requires internet
- SMS alerts: ₦4 per message, delivered within seconds
- Email alerts: Free, delivered within minutes
