Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account.
How to enable 2FA
- Open the app and go to Settings > Security.
- Tap Two-Factor Authentication.
- Toggle it on.
- Choose your preferred method:
- SMS OTP: A one-time code is sent to your phone.
- Email: A one-time code is sent to your registered email.
- Enter the verification code to confirm.
What requires 2FA?
With 2FA enabled, you'll need to enter a verification code for:
- Logging in on a new device
- Sending money above ₦50,000
- Changing your PIN
- Changing your phone number or email
- Deleting your account
How to disable 2FA
- Go to Settings > Security > Two-Factor Authentication.
- Toggle it off.
- Enter your PIN to confirm.
Tip: We strongly recommend keeping 2FA enabled. It protects your account even if someone gains access to your password.
