POS transaction fees are transparent and deducted automatically.
Transaction fees
| Transaction type | Fee |
|-----------------|-----|
| Cash withdrawal | 0.5% (capped at ₦200) |
| Balance inquiry | ₦20 |
| Fund transfer | ₦10 flat |
How fees work
- Fees are deducted automatically from your merchant wallet after each transaction.
- You don't need to collect fees from customers.
- Fees are shown in your transaction history.
Example
- Customer withdraws ₦10,000: Fee = ₦50 (0.5% of ₦10,000)
- Customer withdraws ₦50,000: Fee = ₦200 (capped)
- Customer withdraws ₦100,000: Fee = ₦200 (capped)
Settlement
- Transaction fees are deducted before settlement.
- Your settlement amount is net of fees.
- You can view fee breakdowns in Business > Settlements.
Tips
- Encourage customers to withdraw larger amounts to maximise your earnings.
- Use the fee calculator in the app to estimate charges before transactions.
Tip: POS fees are among the lowest in the industry. You keep most of what you earn.
