You can update your phone number directly from the app.
How to change your phone number
- Open the app and go to Settings > Profile > Phone Number.
- Tap Change Number.
- Enter your new phone number.
- Enter the OTP sent to your old number.
- Enter the OTP sent to your new number.
- Your new number becomes active immediately.
Important notes
- Both numbers must be active and able to receive SMS.
- Your old number will be deactivated after verification.
- All future OTPs and alerts will be sent to your new number.
- Two-factor authentication settings remain unchanged.
If you can't access your old number
Contact support at hello@cashmatrix.ng with:
- Your full name
- Your old phone number
- Your new phone number
- A valid government-issued ID
We'll verify your identity and update your number manually.
Tip: Make sure your new number is registered in your name for security purposes.
